1980 - Garick was founded by Gary Trinetti and Rick Mahoney. Garick's corporate offices are located in Cleveland, OH.
1986 - Garick is recognized by Inc. Magazine as an Inc. 500 Company and listed as one of the fastest growing private companies in the US.
1988 - Garick is selected as a Weatherhead 100 Company as one of the fastest growing companies in Northeast Ohio.
1998 - Garick acquires Paygro, located in South Charleston, OH to expand into the compost, packaged soil, and mulch business.
2004 - Garick purchases Smith Garden Products, Inc. in Cumming, GA. Smith is one of the largest soil and mulch companies in the Southeastern U.S.
2006 - Garick purchases the New Milford Farms compost facility located in New Milford, CT. New Milford Farms was a wholly owned subsidiary of Nestle USA, Inc. which, processed byproducts from Nestle operations into compost and soil products.
2007 - Henricks Holding Company Inc, of Beloit, Wisconsin, acquires Garick to be part of their Hendricks Holding Co., Inc. portfolio joining other recycling product and service companies within the group.
2007 - Garick establishes its own logistics internet transportation company GarTran LLC. (www.gartran.com)
2007 - Garick purchases Tarheel Bark in Harrisburg, NC. to expand its compost, mulch and soil business in the Carolinas.
2008 - Garick is recognized as a "Leading Edge Company" which annually recognizes and celebrates middle-market growth companies in the Northeast Ohio community.
2009 - Garick is selected again as a "Leading Edge Company" for the second year in a row.
2013 - IMERYS selects Garick to be their exclusive nationwide distributor of decorative white marble landscape stone.
