Internship Program
We are seeking enthusiastic, dedicated individuals to work on our Customer Care and Logistics team in order to gain professional experience within a growing field. The intent of this internship is to provide young professionals with a concentrated view of core business functions within our fast-paced lawn and garden industry. This program provides students with a well-rounded experience in various functions of Garick LLC, and offers a solid foundation of business knowledge that students can utilize in future endeavors. Interns will be expected to work and communicate closely with their team to execute daily customer service, order fulfilment, and product transportation needs.
This program is open to students in any major or field of study, but is especially well-suited to those majoring in supply chain and logistics and in business. Students with an interest in working in the green environmental industry are encouraged to apply. Students must have at least junior status with a minimum overall grade point average of 3.00 to be considered for the program.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

Building and maintaining customer, vendor, and supplier relationships

Processing, reviewing, and fulfilling customer orders

Calling potential carrier partners and negotiating prices of logistics services

Researching potential carriers and suppliers for areas of operations

Dispatching, routing, and scheduling trucks for customers

Internship is paid weekly, starting at $16-$18/hour based on experience and ability. Interns may be part-time (20-30 hours/week) or full time (30-40 hours/week) and will have a hybrid work schedule, working in-office at least 1-2 days per week and remotely for the remainder. Internships run from mid-January through at least the end of June annually, with extension opportunities based on business need.
