Gary Trinetti
Garick President & CEO
Celebrating 46 Years with Garick
Gary Trinetti is the President, CEO, and co-founder of Garick, LLC, established in 1980. A Kent State University graduate (B.A. in Marketing, 1976), he previously served as General Manager of The Grand River Hardwood Company.
He actively supports Kent State University, serving on the College of Business Administration National Advisory Board.
Mr. Trinetti has held leadership roles in industry organizations, including the U.S. Compost Council and the Green Industry Expo, and is a Leadership Cleveland Class of 1995 graduate.

Mike Marsollek
Director of Operations
Celebrating 19 Years with Garick
Mike Marsollek, Director of Operations at Garick, brings over 30 years of experience in organics recycling, biomass, power plant operations and renewable energy.
A Gulf War veteran of the U.S. Navy, Mike has dedicated his career to sustainability, leading renewable energy projects with Fortune 500 companies and advancing solutions to protect the environment.
At Garick, he has driven feasibility studies across the U.S., striving to improve lives and preserve the planet. Outside of work, Mike enjoys golfing and spending time with his wife and four children.

Chris Sampson
Director of Logistics and Technology
Celebrating 2 Years with Garick
Chris Sampson is the Director of Logistics and Technology for Garick LLC. A graduate from Georgia Tech (B.S. Mechanical Engineering, 2006) and U.C. Berkeley Haas School of Business (M.B.A, 2016), he brings leadership and expertise in engineering, energy, logistics and technology solutions.

Chris served the U.S. Navy as a Nuclear Submarine Officer, and has previously worked in semiconductor for Lam Research, transportation for Lyft, and logistics for NEXT Trucking and FreightMango. He’s held certifications in nuclear power plant operations, operations research, entrepreneurship, lean manufacturing and engineer in training.

Di Kuo
Director of National Accounts
& Customer Operations
Celebrating 20 Years with Garick
Di Kuo is the Director of National Accounts and Customer Operations at Garick, a leading sustainable natural resource products manufacturer and distributor. She manages key customer accounts and leads the customer operations team, collaborating with executive leadership to enhance customer satisfaction and drive growth.
Di represents Garick in the US Composting Council and Ohio Organic Council and has served on the Kent State MBA Advisory Board since 2021. Di earned her MBA in Marketing from Kent State in 2005 and holds an undergraduate degree in International Hotel & Tourism Management from Johnson & Wales University.

Jessica Bain
Director of Supply Chain
Celebrating 18 Years with Garick
Jessica Bain has been in the Lawn and Garden Industry with Garick for 18 years and is currently the Director of Supply Chain.
Prior to working at Garick, Jessica attended the University of Dayton majoring in Accounting and Operations Management. Jessica went back to school and completed her MBA at Cleveland State University. She is also certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM) through the Association for Supply Chain Management. 

Jessica has been an active participant for many years at the Annual Mulch and Soil Council Meetings and was honored to be the 2024 meeting chair.

Marcy Bergman
Executive Program Facilitator
Celebrating 20 Years with Garick
Marcy Bergman has over 20 years of experience at Garick. A graduate of Miami University with a B.S. in Business (Management Information Systems), she has held a variety of roles at Garick, including positions in Business Development and Marketing, as well as serving as a Regional Manager and National Accounts Manager.
Her experience spans leadership, program management, and driving growth across various sectors. In her current role, she focuses on streamlining processes, fostering collaboration, and delivering impactful results across diverse projects.

Cody Tilberg
Operations Controller
Celebrating 13 Years with Garick
Cody Tilberg has been with Garick for 13 years. He graduated from Kent State University with a business degree in Managerial Marketing. In his current role as Operations Controller, he focuses on driving profitability across each of the company’s business units. Throughout his time at Garick, Cody has also held roles as Senior Regional Manager, Continuous Improvement Specialist, and Operations Manager.

He regularly attends the Mulch and Soil Council annual meetings, is a member of the US Composting Council, and has completed training to become a Certified Compost Operations Manager (CCOM).

Christopher Trinetti
Chief Growth Officer
Celebrating 1 Year with Garick
Christopher Trinetti serves as Chief Growth Officer at Garick, where he leads growth strategy, strategic partnerships, corporate development, and new market expansion. Christopher grew up around the family business and returned to help guide its next chapter.
Before joining Garick, Christopher built a career spanning investment banking, technology and data centers, venture capital, economic development, and public-private partnerships. Through his national economic development work, he helped mobilize billions of dollars in public, private, and philanthropic capital for dozens of communities across the country.
Christopher earned a degree in economics from Davidson College, where he was a Division I football student-athlete.
