Memorial Day weekend usually marks the unofficial beginning of “gardening season”. Most garden enthusiasts have already been spending time preparing their gardens for spring, but Memorial Day typically kicks off the season of beautiful weather and warm spring rains.

At Garick we love gardens. Not only do many of our products work tirelessly to perfect gardens while making the process easier on our customers, but many on our staff are garden enthusiasts as well. We recently launched three new gardening products within our Organic Valley line - pure compost, potting mix and garden soil, which all contain compost.

Our compost product works as a soil amendment for breaking up clay soil, a soil enricher for flower and vegetable gardens and as a top dressing to improve root structure and the vitality of lawns. When used on lawns, compost promotes better growth and greenery while reducing bare spots.
